THE CHIMNEYS VIOLIN SHOP carries a fine selection of instruments, their bows and accessories. We also make artistic repairs and restorations on violins, violas, celli, and their bows.

The price range on the instruments and bows run from modest for beginners, to the best for the professional. All of these are handmade and the selection is taken from "Violin Makers" all over the world. Many of the instruments for sale are made here at The Chimneys. Selection of used instruments varies from day-to-day. Here are a couple of samples from our professional inventory:

Used; Violin 4/4; Edward C. Campbell; Guarneri; 1965; Excelent; This violin was used professionaly since it was made and now the player has retired. This violin is in excelent condition. The top is of two piece fine grained spruce. Back is of two piece quarter cut maple whith the flame extending straight across the center joint. The ribs and scroll match the back. The varnish is red brown over a cinnamom colored base.; $10,00.00

New; Violin Bow; C.F. Iesta; Carbon Bow; 2006; New; This is a carbon bow is a professional grade product. It holds it’s own among the much higher priced bows. This bow has a silver mounted ebony frog and is stamped C. F. Iesta. This carbon bow has a very thin layer of pernambuco laminated to the carbon stick and it looks like a pernambuco bow. The wood laminated to the outside is a quality that would never be used to make a bow. No one will ever know but you and I that this is a carbon bow. This way no good pernambuco is wasted. Mr. Iesta lives in Pou, Brazil.; $888.00
